How good are TCIS teachers?
How academic focused is TCIS?
We believe in academic excellence through cross-curricular pedagogy. Everything we do as a school is aimed at achieving academic excellence.
TCIS imaginatively use sports, arts and other extra-curricular/co-scholastics activities as tools to achieve academic excellence. It has integrated such activities into its curriculum with an idea of making learning part of play. It has been successfully integrated STEM activities into its class-room curriculum such that the students are able to connect the conceptual learnings with experiential learning.
Further, from Grade-4 onwards TCIS uses a highly powerful deep learning tool based on neuro-psychology developed in-house in collaboration with experts. Before the start of a new chapter in the classroom, it helps teacher to analyze every child’s knowledge gaps which are essential to learn the new chapter. It helps the teacher to relearn such gaps before starting the new chapter so that every child in the class is able to achieve the desired learning outcome.
It is evident that the initiatives are certainly contributing to the academic success of TCIS. In this context, it is not surprising that as per the recently announced JEE Main results (first attempt), 17 out of ~100 TCIS students have secured high percentile of 97% and above. In AY 23-24 as well, over 30% of passed-out TCIS students have secured admissions in top institutions like IITs, NIDs, IISER, etc.
