...I'm very happy with the initiatives that TCIS takes to make our children better leaders for tomorrow...
Due to our job-related shifting, TCIS happens to be my daughter’s 4th school but the best one. Their teachers are exceptional and activities are very meaningful spanning from literature to STEM to IT to sports to theatre. Their approach to education is very different from other schools. I could see visible changes in my daughter; both her confidence and academic performance have significantly improved.

TCIS academic program is thoughtfully designed. Also, integrated projects, expert teaching of sports, music, dance, art, etc has made a good learning experience. My son’s results in the board exam have been excellent and I would credit the experienced teachers at TCIS for their guidance.

FAQs

What curriculum does The Cambridge International School (TCIS) follow?

+
TCIS follows an enhanced blended curricular approach, developed by its own R&D, by inculcating the best practices of International Baccalaureate (IB) and CBSE curriculums. During the Foundational (Prep to Gr-2) and Preparatory (Gr-3 to Gr-5) Years, the IB approach is at the core into which best of CBSE is integrated. This uniquely designed pedagogical approach during the early years focuses on experiential learning combined with the best practices of textbook learning thereby promoting inquiry, stimulating children’s innate sense of wonder and encouraging their natural desire to seek answers to their questions. The strong foundation thus laid makes the subsequent stages of Middle (Gr-6 to Gr-8) and Higher (Gr-9 to Gr-12) Years more meaningful and effortless when the orientation moves up gradually from concept building to multidisciplinary concept integration and to career orientation in line with the core CBSE philosophy.

Not surprisingly many among them are award winning teachers at National and Global forums.

How academic focused is TCIS?

+

We believe in academic excellence through cross-curricular pedagogy. Everything we do as a school is aimed at achieving academic excellence.

TCIS imaginatively use sports, arts and other extra-curricular/co-scholastics activities as tools to achieve academic excellence. It has integrated such activities into its curriculum with an idea of making learning part of play. It has been successfully integrated STEM activities into its class-room curriculum such that the students are able to connect the conceptual learnings with experiential learning.

Further, from Grade-4 onwards TCIS uses a highly powerful deep learning tool based on neuro-psychology developed in-house in collaboration with experts. Before the start of a new chapter in the classroom, it helps teacher to analyze every child’s knowledge gaps which are essential to learn the new chapter. It helps the teacher to relearn such gaps before starting the new chapter so that every child in the class is able to achieve the desired learning outcome.

It is evident that the initiatives are certainly contributing to the academic success of TCIS. In this context, it is not surprising that as per the recently announced JEE Main results (first attempt), 17 out of ~100 TCIS students have secured high percentile of 97% and above. In AY 23-24 as well, over 30% of passed-out TCIS students have secured admissions in top institutions like IITs, NIDs, IISER, etc.
